Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities
- Follow established systems and protocols for documentation and reporting
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their needs are met
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients under your careRequirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as transferring individuals from wheelchairs or beds
- Experience or training in behavior management techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation and food safety practices
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to follow established systems and protocols for documentation and reporting
