What will I be doing:
The primary over-riding duty of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support and serve as a receptionist for the office. Including but not limited to the following:
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions and give further information about HCA.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
- Maintain and update filing and inventory.
- Assist the Office Manager or Program Director in preparing agendas and making arrangements for new staff orientation and training, and other meetings.
- Assist in operating the information management system (Carelogic) for client records, enter data as requested, and produce reports as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school education with at least 5 years work experience in an administrative support staff position.
- Associates Degree preferred
- Experience in health care/ behavioral health care preferred.
- Must be skilled in computer applications and proficient in all outlook products, including Excel.
- Excellent customer service and effective communication skills a must.
- Must be organized with the ability to administratively organize others and be able to independently maintain an organized regional office system and maintain confidentiality at all levels.
