We are seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care services to Veterans, including conducting assessments for Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) required by the VA. Responsibilities include performing vision examinations, utilizing ophthalmologic equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining exceptional patient care. Candidates must have an active Optometry license, a Doctor of Optometry degree, and preferably one year of experience. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office are essential. The position offers a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
- Active BLS certification required.
- Immunizations including TB screening and Hep B titers are mandatory.
- COVID vaccination and other immunizations are strongly recommended.
