Job Description
The Part-Time Benefits Administrator & Recruiter will provide support to the Director of Finance in managing the benefits program. This will include troubleshooting of coverage issues throughout the year as well as annual data collection for benefits renewal. This person must be patient, good at problem solving, and highly discrete.
This position is responsible for the ongoing recruitment of both specialized and base-level positions. Experience with the interview process and an ability to accurately determine the quality of a candidate with limited information and interaction are necessary to be successful in this position.
This position will also monitor weekly attendance of office based staff to include attendance calendar management, processing of time-off requests, and accurately balancing employee time-off spreadsheets.
Additionally, this position will support various operational tasks, including the management of the company’s DOT Drug & Alcohol Compliance program, assisting with preparing corporate policies and handbooks, answering questions and providing HR-related information to employees/management, and other tasks as assigned.
