Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details CVICU RN position Working with open heart, complex thoracic, and vascular patients Charge nurse in each shift Experience with titrating drips required Experience with vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics Job Requirements 1 year of experience with this patient population Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Schedule Information 0630-1830, 1830-0630 shifts Every other weekend Every other holiday or as needed Unit Specific Information Department : CVICU of Beds : 18 Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 01 Common diagnoses : Open heart, complex thoracic, and vascular patients No CNAs on the unit Hospitalist & Intensivist in house 24 / 7 RNs required to read and interpret telemetry strips Additional Details Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity / NICU 2 shifts of unit / department specific orientation required Radius Rule : 50 miles for candidates RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
