  • Holiday Requirements : Every other or as needed based on unit needs
  • Floating Requirements : Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity / NICU

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Scrub Color / Dress Code : Navy Blue
  • How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 2 shifts

  • Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 01
  • Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes
  • Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics
  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Yes
  • Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? No CNAs
  • Hospitalist & / or Intensivist in house 24 / 7? Yes, both in house 24 / 7
  • RT Equipment : All RNs required to troubleshoot
  • Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit? No techs, RNs need to read and interpret
