Job Details
A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for ICU RN's.
12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed.
2 years of unit experience.
Job Requirements
2 years of unit experience.
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
Schedule Information
12 hour shifts : 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
Weekend Requirements : Every other.
Holiday Requirements : Every other or as needed based on unit needs.
Floating Requirements : Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity / NICU.
Unit Specific Information
Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics.
Charge Nurse on each shift will attend RRTs and Codes.
1 : 18 nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit.
Additional Details
Fast paced unit with volume flexes due to being primary tertiary hospital for the system.
Attributes that will make a nurse successful on this unit are the ability to ask questions, a positive attitude, willingness to help others, critical thinking skills, personable, and positive attitude.
Have a team environment meant to foster high quality care and work with attendings and student providers (fellows, residents) to collaborate on care.
Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
