Job Details
A main Med Center in Eastern Nebraska is looking for PCU RN's.
Job Requirements
1 year of experience required.
Minimum 1 year required for charge nurse.
Schedule Information
12-hour shifts.
Shift times : 7a-7p, 7a-3p, 3p-7p, 7p-11p, 11p-7a, 7p-7a.
Weekend requirements : Every third weekend.
Self-schedule.
Unit Specific Information
RN Ratio (Days) : 1 RN to 4 PCU, 1 to 5 M / S.
RN Ratio (Nights) : 1 RN to 5-6 patients.
Nursing Assistant support : Yes.
Additional unit support staff : PT / OT, RN case manager, social work, educator, dietician.
Common Drips / Medications : chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix.
Additional Details
Passing score of 90% required on open book exam during orientation.
Must pass BLS and ACLS certifications.
If hanging chemotherapy, chemo certification is needed but not required to work on the floor.
