The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The Facilities Operations Assistant will be responsible for carrying out routine and basic tasks, including: relocating supplies and equipment within the facilities, clearing materials from construction sites, painting, conducting maintenance on machinery, loading and unloading trucks, performing basic carpentry and masonry work, and managing the pickup and delivery program across the five locations of the Wadsworth Center.
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience qualifications for this class. Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate should have a solid understanding and proficiency in operating vehicles, tools, and equipment utilized in building and grounds maintenance.
