Location: New Orleans, LA
Health Designs is a leader in worksite wellness specializing in comprehensive wellbeing platform solutions, biometric screenings and face to face health coaching. We also support our clients with executive reporting and custom wellness initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse and Health Coach to provide onsite wellbeing coaching service for a client company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and foster a long-term relationship with client company and their employees by offering a high level of onsite wellness program support, engagement and results-oriented services, focusing on behavior change and superior client service.
- Guide company employees to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support employees in achieving those goals.
- Meet weekly with employees for follow-up coaching to foster support, skill building and behavior change
- Provide workshops and educational opportunities to entire population
- Deliver evidence-based initiatives and collaborate with Health Designs’ team in providing positive evaluation/outcomes to client
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with active license in New Orleans and ability to maintain license
- Strong Clinical skills with at least 3 or more years of experience health coaching, health education and health promotion
- CHES certified and/or coaching certification preferred
- Skillful in using coaching methodology to support behavior change required
- Strong and knowledgeable presenter of wellness workshops to groups and enjoys doing so
- Expert communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with the client and other strategic partners
- Comfortable and experienced working in a corporate setting
- Diabetes Educator experience, a plus
- Experience measuring biometrics (manual blood pressure, finger stick, glucose), a plus
- Flexibility in schedule
- Competent with wellbeing platform technology and Microsoft Office applications

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
