What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers 🦸♂️🦸♀️)
✅ Lead & Oversee Health Services:
- Ensure comprehensive nursing services that respect residents’ dignity and individual needs.
- Develop and maintain personalized service plans in compliance with state-assisted living regulations.
✅ Enhance Resident Experience & Wellness:
- Monitor resident care plans, assessing effectiveness through written progress notes and regular communication.
- Implement wellness programs to promote resident well-being and independence.
✅ Support & Develop Nursing Teams:
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of nursing staff.
- Conduct regular in-services and training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and skill development.
✅ Ensure Compliance & Safety:
- Maintain state licensing requirements and ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
- Implement infection control, OSHA, and safety policies to create a secure environment for residents and staff.
✅ Collaborate & Drive Operational Success:
- Work closely with executive leadership and other departments to ensure a seamless resident experience.
- Support marketing efforts by conducting tours, engaging with families, and promoting the community’s wellness programs.
- Step into a leadership role in the Executive Director’s absence to maintain continuity of operations.
✅ Engage with Residents & Families:
- Serve as a key contact for families and medical providers, ensuring open communication and resident-centered care.
- Provide guidance and support in addressing residents’ healthcare and psychosocial needs.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Passion for Senior Care 😃)
✔ Education & Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN or LPN license.
✔ Experience & Leadership:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in supervisory and leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
✔ Clinical & Regulatory Expertise:
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, medications, and modern care techniques.
- Understanding of assisted living regulations, compliance, and best practices.
✔ Strong Communication & Team-Building Skills:
- Ability to train, mentor, and lead nursing teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with residents, families, and staff.
✔ Flexibility & Problem-Solving:
- Strong ability to adapt to changing resident needs and implement proactive solutions.
- Capacity to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
