POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving talent acquisition to optimize and ensure a pipeline of applicants to meet the growing and changing needs of Health Dimensions Group (HDG) and client executive searches. The TA specialist will need to be local to MN or plan on relocating to MN.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving talent acquisition to optimize and ensure a pipeline of applicants to meet the growing and changing needs of Health Dimensions Group (HDG) and client executive searches. The TA specialist will need to be local to MN or plan on relocating to MN.
Essential Accountabilities
- Performs full cycle recruiting including determining position requirements, posting and marketing the role, initial screening of candidates, telephone interviewing, making recommendations for interviews, and setting interview schedules; conducts background, reference, and all other required checks for candidates.
- Communicates with hiring managers to understand business and recruitment needs, develop business partnerships, and project future workforce demands. Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
- Executes on Health Dimensions Group (HDG) and Client Executive recruitment plans; partners with community leaders to ensure the selection of the best and brightest talent.
- Maintains knowledge of HDG’s and clients’ benefits, compensation structure, etc. to communicate with candidate.
- Creates marketing tools to be used in the recruitment process which may include job postings for mass or niche job boards, social media strategy, etc.
- Sources candidates directly, as well as through industry networking, employee referrals, job fairs, etc.
- Performs research and outreach for passive candidates; develops and maintains ongoing list of qualified candidates for current or future talent needs.
- Manages application and resume retention according to company policy.
- Prepares reports documenting recruitment activity and effectiveness.
- Builds relationships with colleges, vocational/technical schools, and other feeder organizations.
- Maintains knowledge of current industry standards in order to draw top talent; is creative with implementation of these solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
- Proven success with negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Creative and resourceful with emerging industry trends and technologies.
- Abilities:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
- Ability to take initiative with minimal supervision; excellent follow-up and follow-through abilities required.
- Strong perceptive abilities required.
- Handles confidential information with a high degree of tact and professionalism.
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Human Resources preferred.
- Three years of hands-on recruitment experience required; focus on recruitment of healthcare professionals, work in a fast paced, highly competitive environment, or a combination of employment agency and corporate settings preferred.
