About The Clinician's Workday
A cardiac anesthesiologist is needed for weekend call, with the option for a general/cardiac coverage mix Monday through Friday. The schedule includes day shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, along with cardiac call, and rotating first/second general call. The caseload consists of 2-3 cardiac cases per week, including open heart procedures (CABG, valves), thoracic (mostly robot-assisted), TAVRs, high-risk cath labs (left main stenting), mediastinoscopies, and other emergency cases like pericardial windows. Candidates with an active Wisconsin license are preferred, though those with an active IMLC will be considered. TEE certification is not required. The EMR system is EPIC.
