Full-Time Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic (CVT) Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Exclusive provider of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery for VHC
• Practice the full spectrum of adult Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
• Have a verifiable track record of quality
• Thoracic aortic interest preferred
• Excellent Mid-level support currently provided
• Office space adjacent to the CVICU, one office day per week.
• One in three call schedule
• Two dedicated CVOR’s
• Will partner with two experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons in a developed TAVR program
• 4-10 years of experience preferred
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO
• Currently licensed or able to obtain the license in Virginia
• Successful completion of residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Cardio or Thoracic Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Training and familiarity in the use of EPIC (EMR) preferred
