General Surgeon

We are seeking a General Surgeon to join our team! Due to exciting new growth, our group wants to bring the latest member aboard in Detroit Lakes, MN. PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• We are looking for a BC/BC General Surgeon with a full spectrum of services, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, behavioral health, obstetrics/gynecology, podiatry, and dermatology.
• Referral base draws from 5 clinics and a population of 40,000 plus.
• The practice includes general, colorectal, breast, laparoscopic, wound care, endoscopy, and colonoscopy, and it has growth potential for unique or new services. We also have a robotics program!
• 36-bed facility that is designated as a Level III Trauma Center
• Practice currently includes 2 General Surgeons
• 1:3 weekday call
• 1:4 weekend/holiday community call
• The weekly schedule consists of clinic, surgery, endoscopy, and daytime outreach, which could include Perham and Fosston, MN.
• We offer a competitive compensation package with incentives based on experience, 6 weeks’ vacation, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and a relocation package.

• Centrally located in the heart of the 412 Lakes Area
• 1 hour from Fargo and 3 ½ hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Detroit Lakes population: 9,200

Compensation

• $494,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
