The Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a clinical faculty member to join their team as an academic clinician educator with administrative responsibilities in Antimicrobial Stewardship. The ideal candidate will have clinical training and experience in Infectious Diseases, as well as operational Antimicrobial Stewardship experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a physician to provide care in the ambulatory clinic and inpatient consultative service, while also serving as the Director of Adult Inpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship. The successful candidate will work closely with dedicated pharmacists to promote optimal antibiotic utilization through routine programmatic evaluation, development, and implementation of improvement initiatives.
Previous leadership experience, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a track record of scholarly work in antimicrobial resistance or stewardship are highly desirable. The Division of Infectious Diseases is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and enhancing prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
