Responsibilities
With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies. Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders of the nervous system, including stroke, epilepsy, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases.
- Work with other specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients with neurological conditions
- Create individualized treatment plans for patients, adjusting them as necessary based on progress and new developments in their conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and long-term management strategies.
What you’ll need as a Neurologist.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist.
- Active New York State License.
