Responsibilities
With no two patients or days alike, you'll collaborate to provide out-of-the-box, patient-focused strategies. Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate conditions, and incontinence.
- Conduct minimally invasive and complex surgical procedures such as prostatectomies, kidney stone removal, and bladder surgery, as well as non-surgical treatments like medication management.
- Work closely with primary care physicians, oncologists, nephrologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Guide patients on prevention, treatment options, post-operative care, and lifestyle modification to improve urologic health and overall well-being.
What you’ll need as a Urologist.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist.
- Active New York State License.
