Movement Disorders Opportunity – Winfield, IL
The Neurodegenerative Diseases Center of Neurosciences at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital (NMCDH) seeks a fellowship trained BC/BE Movement Disorders Neurologist to join the expanding Movement Disorders Center. In addition to an active ambulatory practice, the DBS surgical program is one of the busiest in Illinois with an APN who serves as our dedicated DBS Coordinator. Patient care is foremost and enhanced by our interdisciplinary team from neurosurgery, neurophysiology, behavioral neurology, neuropsychology, social work, and rehab, all of whom practice together in our Center. Rehabilitation therapists are certified in Big and Loud therapy. The team also includes a dedicated Movement Disorders clinical trials coordinator. Funding for investigator-initiated research is possible. We collaborate closely with our neuroradiology colleagues.
