UW Medicine Primary Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine scope) for a primary care clinic in Kirkland, WA.

The UW Medicine Primary Care clinic in Kirkland is less than a mile from picturesque beach parks at Lake Washington and the core of Kirkland’s community focused downtown neighborhood. Kirkland is a short drive to Seattle and all it has to offer. Within a short drive in any direction you can find breathtaking mountains, lakes, coastal beaches, a rain forest and the unparalleled beauty of the Puget Sound.

Base salary for this position will be $11,317 per month ($135,804 per annum) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determination and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) provides eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
Other compensation associated with this position includes a minimum guaranteed incentive for the first two years of $7,500 per quarter ($30,000 per annum) through UW Physicians. The incentive is based on both production and quality metrics, with guaranteed incentive pay being based on achieving up to the 45th percentile of production during the period of record; should the provider exceed this level of production, they will receive the higher productivity earned incentive instead.

ARNPs would be appointed as Teaching Associates at the UW School of Medicine. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications
Candidates must be licensed as an ARNP and should be board certified. Candidates should have at least two years’ experience in primary care or relevant specialty. Candidates will need to possess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEA cert.
