Top Southern New Hampshire practice is seeking a board certified or board eligible OB-GYN hospitalist for evening hospital coverage.
Bedford Commons OB-GYN is a 22-provider private practice (16 physicians and 6 nurse practitioners) in Bedford, NH (suburban Manchester). Started in 1982, we have grown as a group into one of the largest OB-GYN practices in Southern NH and deliver approximately 1500 babies per year. The physicians and staff at Bedford Commons OB-GYN are dedicated to the goal of combining quality state-of-the-art medicine with individualized care. We deliver obstetric care at Elliot Hospital which has a Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
We are looking for a compassionate, friendly physician to join our team. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our patients and seek a likeminded individual who will spend time building trusting relationships with Bedford Commons families.
As part of our team, this physician will join our current hospitalist team to provide night hospital coverage with the primary responsibility of caring for patients in labor and delivery. This position offers a flexible monthly work schedule based on your availability. Weekend shifts consist of three consecutive weekend evenings from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The number of weekends worked per month can vary based on your preferences and availability, ranging from one to four weekends per month.

Responsibilities
- Provide overnight coverage 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Labor and Delivery, ensuring high-quality care to expectant mothers and their infants.
- Attend to patients admitted to the hospital, managing their care and treatment plans.
- Provide coverage to the emergency room when practice is on-call for ER coverage.
- Conduct four clinic hours outside of weekend shift, dedicating time to see obstetric and postpartum patients and establishing a rapport with them.
- Medical degree and board certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
- Valid medical license in New Hampshire or willingness to obtain a state medical license within three months.
- Demonstrated experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
