Job Description
New OBGYN opening in Fairfield County, Connecticut, located on Connecticut’s Gold Coast with easy access to NYC and New Haven. This well-established, busy, growing private practice with 5 OBGYN physicians is looking to add 2 additional BC/BE OB/GYN physicians. They are a boutique practice dedicated to providing quality patient care and are looking for candidates with strong surgical skills and a love of OB to join them. The practice incorporates a comprehensive approach to women’s healthcare.
All the providers are well-loved and receive accolades for their great patient care. They are 100% patient-focused; they spend time with their patients, listen, and work with them to find the healthiest solution to the problem. They are extremely popular, are booked 2 months out for annuals, and receive 20-30 new patient calls per week.
Their main office is state-of-the-art and fully equipped, and they recently opened a second office in a neighboring town. The practice utilizes the laborists at the admitting hospital to assist with most of the overnight call coverage. There would be four to five 24-hour calls per month. The workweek consists of 4 days in the office or doing hospital coverage, with 1 full day off during the week. This collegial group will work with new hires and provide mentoring if needed. They do about 25-30 deliveries per month and offer a good balance of OB and GYN. They have a surgery suite in-office, staffed by an anesthesiologist, and perform many minor procedures there.
