Shriners Children's Ohio Seeks Pediatric Intensivist

Job Overview

Shriners Children's is actively seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing team at Shriners Children's Ohio in Dayton. The Pediatric Intensivist will be responsible for the medical management of all patients on the unit (both critical and non-critical), in close collaboration with the attending burn/critical care surgeon. A major focus for the candidate will be on the daily management of post-operative craniofacial patients and post-surgical patients. Schedule will be predominately nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric critical care services.
• Manage post-operative craniofacial patients.
• Participate in sedation services and research opportunities.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.
  
  

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care.
• Fellowship training in pediatric critical care.
• PALS certification.
