Pediatric Mental Health Therapist

Responsibilities

The CRC Cottage Therapist provides individual and group therapy, crisis counseling, and oversees therapeutic services within their assigned cottage. They collaborate with the Cottage Supervisor to foster a supportive environment for staff and clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitating group sessions and providing psychoeducation.
• Maintaining documentation and coordinating with psychiatric services.
• Participating in team meetings and referral processes.
• Available 24/7 for client needs and crisis assessments.
  
  

Qualifications include a Master's degree in social work or counseling, relevant licensure, and experience with children in residential treatment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and respond to crises.
