What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Health Express Urgent Care?
Health Express Raynham is a busy walk-in urgent care clinic that has been serving the Raynham area for 10 years. We are dedicated to providing convenient and exceptional care to each patient. We provide a wide spectrum of quality medical services and treatment for all age groups. Under the guidance and direction of the Practice Manager and Medical Director, the ideal candidate is customer-service oriented and passionate about providing a high level of care with the utmost professionalism.
This position is PART-TIME!
- Triage patients/room placement
- Take vitals
- Record patient history, chief complaint, pharmacy info, prescription list, etc. in EMR
- Collect swabs, urine samples, blood draws, perform injections, etc.
- Restock, perform additional duties as assigned
Must be willing to assist with reception duties (as needed), such as:
- Check patients in, verify insurance eligibility, collect copays
- Scan in medical documents
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certificate from approved Medical Assistant program or equivalent
1 to 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
