Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our growing team at Health Express. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our mission to provide convenient, quality-driven care. You’ll perform blood draws and specimen collection in a fast-paced urgent care environment, ensuring accuracy, safety, and comfort for our patients.

Responsibilities:
As a Phlebotomist at HEUC, you will:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages in a compassionate, professional manner.
- Ensure accurate specimen labeling, processing, and timely delivery to laboratory services.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist patients by addressing concerns, ensuring comfort, and explaining procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with urgent care providers, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care.
- Support front- and back-office operations when needed, contributing to a smooth patient flow in a high-volume urgent care setting.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a hospital, urgent care, or clinical setting.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist (or equivalent training/certification) strongly preferred.
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques, specimen handling, and laboratory procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts based on patient needs.
