Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for Night ICU RN's. Open Heart Trained. Job Requirements ICU RN with Night Shift experience. Schedule Information 13 Weeks, Every other Weekend / Holiday. Shifts & Scheduling : 0630-1830, 1830-0630. Self-scheduling for core staff, travelers added in. Unable to guarantee block scheduling. Weekend Requirements : Every other. Holiday Requirements : Rotating based on weekend group. Floating Requirements : Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg. How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 3 shifts. Unit Specific Information Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630. RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? : Nasal cannula to vent. Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? : RNs required to read and interpret. Additional Details WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE / SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED. Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
