Job Details
A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience.
Job Requirements
2 years of unit experience
RNs required to titrate drips
RNs must read and interpret telemetry / monitor techs
Looking for someone who is flexible and willing to learn as well as take feedback along the way
A nurse on this unit is successful if they are a team player, are flexible and adaptable, and have good communication skills
Schedule Information
12 hour shifts
36 hours guaranteed
Shifts & Scheduling : 0630-1830, 1830-0630
Smart Square online scheduling
Weekend Requirements : Every third
Holiday Requirements : Rotating with perm staff
Floating Requirements : Yes to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients
Unit Specific Information
Charge Nurse on each shift and they do take an assignment
Nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit
RT Equipment : High flow
Number of shifts of unit / department specific orientation : 1 week
Scrub Color / Dress code : Navy Blue
Additional Details
Overhead lifts in half the rooms, portable lifts, vein finders, bladder scanner
Different cultural populations are served on this unit- primarily Hispanic and Somalian
Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
