JOB TITLE: Practice Manager, Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
LOCATION: Sexual & Reproductive Health Services
HOURS: Full time, some evenings required
SALARY: $85,000/annual

OVERVIEW: Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, the Practice Manager is responsible for increasing access to services for people who have the greatest barriers to achieving good health, safety, and economic security by:
- Managing the daily operations of the practice
- Ensuring provision of client-centered, non-judgmental SRH services
- Hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation of all non-clinical personnel
- Overseeing continuous quality improvement activities
- Providing direct care and support for clinical operations
- Ensuring compliance with practice policies and procedures
- Managing laboratory compliance including laboratory controls, proficiency, testing, and equipment calibration and verification requirements
- Collaborating with HR on employee relations, corrective action process and recruiting
- Overseeing, prioritizing, and delegating staff workload
- Overseeing inventory of medications and supplies
- Managing operational and financial responsibilities
- Evaluating operations and effectiveness of service delivery
- Creating systems that ensure quality and access to inclusive services
- Identify and seek opportunities to grow the program
- Conduct outreach and participate in local provider meetings
- Facilitating staff meetings and participating in management meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Reproductive Health
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years as a Medical Practice Manager building cohesive and high performing teams or at least 3 years in progressively responsible work positions in a practice providing medical healthcare. A commitment to and passion for Health Imperatives’ mission and values. Ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet program needs including some evenings and/or occasional weekends. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of cultural competence and experience working with diverse populations. Demonstrated work in a collaborative, team environment. Valid driver’s license, registration, and safe driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual; Prior medical assistant experience and certificate. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in health care administration, public health or health information management. Experience working with eCW electronic medical record system.
