We are seeking an Accountant with the ability to act independently and accurately to support our ecosystem of businesses including Fuego Leads, LLC & Health Insurance Alliance, LLC. Fuego Leads is a leader in call center technology, lead generation, and telecommunication. Our focus is currently in the Health Insurance and Medicare markets where we collaborate with Health Insurance Agencies, including Health Insurance Alliance.
Our core philosophy is to build and provide the best customer experience to the end user (currently as an individual enrolling in a health or medicare plan) through seamless telecommunication and digital user experience, while providing a best in class SAAS solution for call centers to manage their operations and customer workflows start to finish from telecommunication to product quoting and operational performance reporting.
In a more simple explanation, this means we are able to partner with organizations to generate their sales opportunity and revenue by handling their website, marketing, operational technology, and operational reporting allowing them to easily make intelligent business decisions improving their bottom line and growth.

The Opportunity
- You will support daily accounting duties for our ecosystem of businesses including Fuego Leads, LLC and Health Insurance Alliance, LLC.
- You will prepare and record routine General Ledger entries for month-end processing. Reconciling General Ledger accounts and reviewing discrepancies to supporting documentation.
- You will input vendor invoices and respond to vendor inquiries, while maintaining vendor files and preparing year-end 1099s.
- You will prepare and send customer invoices. Entering and recording related payments and credits.
- You will research disputes and maintain positive relationships with our customer stakeholders.
- You will prepare and enter allocations between general ledger accounts and related companies. Reconciling intercompany balances and recording outstanding transactions.
- You will prepare and record payroll and benefit entries. Reconciling to payroll cash transactions and reviewing appropriate coding. Reconciling benefit invoices to payroll reports and monitoring for discrepancies
- You will review monthly financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and proper recording of transactions.
- You will prepare weekly payables reports and send related payments to the bank for remittance to vendors.
- You will monitor cash balances and transfer to/from ancillary accounts as needed to meet cash flow needs.
- You will reconcile and analyze weekly and monthly commission reports.
- You will assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and related account reconciliations
You will assist in preparation of the budgets, financial forecasts and report variances as needed
What you bring to the table
- You have experience in financial accounting and demonstrated experience within a small to medium business environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
- You have a professional accounting background with sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, general ledger functions, and financial statements and reports.
- You have experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, experience using Quickbooks is preferred.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information effectively to stakeholders at various levels.
- You have the ability to think critically and objectively, evaluating information and making informed decisions by identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- You thrive in a collaborative work environment, can take constructive feedback, and are committed to continuous learning and professional development.
Location & Hours
- In Office, Hybrid Flexibility is ideal, but not required.
- Our HQ is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Open to Remote with minimal travel, If located in FL, OH, TX, TN.
- Your shifts will be from 9AM-6PM Monday - Friday.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Our Salary Range is $75-85K
