Schedule Information
12 hour shifts
Shift Times : 1830-0700
Every other weekend required
Smart Square is staffing tool using 6 week schedule periods
One week per unit (2 weeks) typical orientation period
Unit Specific Information
Post operative patients meeting goals to be ready for discharge home
Lots of patient movement on unit, many discharges and admissions
Staff work in a Team Model with Nursing Assistants
Are Staff Required to Float? Yes-2 Med-Surg Units and PCU
