Your Role
As a Chaplain / Bereavement Coordinator , you will :
- Provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Offer bereavement counseling to loved ones before and after a patient's passing.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver holistic care.
- Help individuals and families navigate grief, loss, and end-of-life transitions with compassion.
What We're Looking For
A degree or certification from an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent) OR appropriate certification in hospital / pastoral ministry.
Experience supporting end-of-life care, bereavement, or hospice patients (preferred).
Comfort working in an interfaith setting , providing care to individuals of all spiritual backgrounds.
Knowledge of grief counseling, bereavement support, and hospice philosophy .
A team-oriented mindset , ready to collaborate with medical and support staff.
