Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision making, in addition to working closely with cross-functional teams to forecast financial performance, analyze business trends, and support the annual budget process.

- Financial Modeling
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze business trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Collaborate with business partners to forecast financial performance and develop annual budgets.
- Data Analysis
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Reporting
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on financial performance and key business metrics.
- Process Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required. CMA designation preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of direct financial analysis or related experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL, Python, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP.
- Ability to work independently, with sound fiscal and time management skills, and priority management to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage significant recurring responsibilities with unpredictable short-term demands.
- Ability to be initiative-taking, flexible and able to switch gears quickly from one project to the next.
- Capable of handling confidential information in a discrete manner.
- Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, as needed.
