We are seeking a full-time Director of Education and Workforce Development for the Massachusetts Association of Community Health Workers (MACHW), who will oversee our educational offerings, career pathways for CHWs within and beyond CHW practice, and CHW practice standardization. This is an exempt, full-time, fully remote position that requires extensive travel within the state.

MACHW is the professional association of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Massachusetts dedicated to strengthening the workforce by creating and advocating for legislation and policies that support the profession, and creating professional development opportunities for CHWs. We are searching for a full-time Director of Education and Workforce Development for MACHW. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the CHW workforce both state and national.
Education : The Director will research, create content, and develop curricula for our educational activities, and manage a diverse pool of trainers.
Workforce Development : The director will work closely with colleges, universities, and CHW Training Programs to create structured and accessible pathways for CHWs.
CHW Practice Standardization : The director will curate best practice resources and oversee the development of the “CHW Resource Center.”
The Director supervises the Manager of Member Engagement and the Manager of the CHW Resource Center, reporting to the Executive Director.
This is an exempt, full-time, fully remote position that requires extensive travel within the state.
Salary Range is $94K to $109K, depending on experience.
