Position Description :
The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention (HAVI) envisions a world where communities end violence and foster healing. Our mission is to reduce violence, particularly in communities of color, by advancing hospital-based violence intervention programs (HVIPs) and coordinated, community-led systems that heal trauma and promote equity.
The Manager will play a critical role in grant management, tracking, and reporting, event sponsorships, individual giving campaigns and CRM development and management. The Manager will be situated in the HAVI’s Organizational Growth and Equity Division that works to align the strategic priorities of the organization among the executive director, board, senior leadership, staff, and fiscal sponsor to achieve the HAVI’s racial equity, organizational, programmatic, and fiscal goals.
We are searching for a proven manager and administrator to support the infrastructure of our growing organization. The Manager will monitor grants and contracts, manage proposal teams, processes, and tasks, and engage stakeholders to meet grant and contractual requirements. They will improve the structure and functioning of the CRM, manage the CRM, and produce reports. Together with the Associate Director of Advancement, they will implement and manage an individual giving program and provide support for the major gifts program. We seek a professional with experience in grant management and a passion for violence intervention and equity work. The ideal candidate should be able to manage time-sensitive deliverables while also being able to pivot quickly as new opportunities and circumstances arise.
The Manager will report to the Associate Director of Advancement. This is an exempt, full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 – $75,000, based on experience and internal equity factors. Some occasional national travel may be needed for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Management
- Manage and support projects, activities and tasks related to development, fundraising, individual giving and grant management.
- Monitor grants and sponsorships to ensure that the HAVI is meeting its contracted deliverables, and manage close-outs, extensions and renewal processes.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to advance HAVI’s development goals, vision, mission, and values.
- Manage a Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform that is specific to development functions. This includes inputting data and maintenance tasks, checking trends, setting up automations and workflows, and generating dashboards and reports.
- Ensure development management systems work together smoothly (CRM, donor landing page, etc.).
- Work with the Associate Director of Advancement, Strategic Planning Director, Managing Directors, and Executive Director to ensure that grant solicitations and sponsorships are aligned with organizational and programmatic priorities.
