HSI has served the community for over 50 years by providing patients with a full range of quality comprehensive services. We have 11 clinics located throughout the River Region, 2 mobile clinics, and 4 school-based clinics in partnership with Montgomery Public Schools.
HSI is looking for a Facilites Maintenance Technican to join our team. Our Maintenance Techs are an integral part of our team, providing support to all of our clinics.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various tools and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Proficient in stick welding and other fabrication techniques
- Experience with low voltage systems is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors
