Health Services, Inc. is a primary-centered medical home with eleven (11) locations and four (4) School-Based Clinics to serve individuals and their families by providing access to affordable comprehensive health and wellness services.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) to join our healthcare team. As an CRNP, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
*Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Locations:
Montgomery, AL
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients in the clinics.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about preventive care, disease management, and health promotion.
- Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Skills:
- Acute care expertise: Ability to provide specialized care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries
- Medical imaging knowledge: Familiarity with different types of medical imaging techniques and their interpretation
- Diagnostic evaluation proficiency: Skill in conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations to identify underlying health conditions
- Acute pain management: Knowledge of effective strategies for managing acute pain in patients
- Familiarity with medical standards: Understanding of medical standards, guidelines, and best practices for delivering quality patient care
Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner certification
- Proficient in patient assessment and care, including acute pain management and diagnostic evaluation
- Experience with EHR systems such as Athena is a plus
- Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing practices
- Experience working in acute care settings with children
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare
