Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole-person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, case managers, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer, to join us at 41 Montebello Rd in Pueblo.
What You’d Be Doing
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you would track the cash flow and analyze the financial aspects of the company, develop financial plans, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth.
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO is responsible to:
- Directly supervises the Controller and Director of Business Analytics.
- Analyze operations to evaluate performance of the company to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement needs of the center and community; implements problem resolution strategies as needed.
- Prepare budgets for approval, including those for funding or implementation of programs.
- Audit functions
- Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, board member reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Ensures programs comply with federal, state, local laws, regulations and ordinances and assures consistency with all services provided at the center.
- Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth.
- Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
- Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems
- Manages the day-to-day workflow with assigned teams.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements include:
- Frequently stays stationary for prolonged periods.
- Frequently moves within and between facilities.
- Frequently exposed to stressful or emergent situations.
- Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment.
- Occasionally moves equipment and/or materials up to 15 pounds.
- Occasionally drives between Health Solutions facilities or for other assigned duties.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For—The Must-Haves
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Minimum of eight to ten years in financial management in healthcare experience.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivator, possess exceptional organizational skills, and time management skill
- Advanced communication skills
- Ability to manage an extremely busy department
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and access to reliable transportation during work hours are required. Master's
What We’d Like to See in You—The Nice-to-Haves
- Certified Public Accountant
- Previous experience in strategic planning;
- Behavioral health services development and operations,
- Experience in interaction with executive levels of management.
- Spanish language skills
