We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Communication Specialist at our office at 41 Montebello Rd, Pueblo, CO 81001, to manage internal and external communication efforts that align with our organizations goals and values. The ideal candidate will develop and execute communication strategies, create compelling content, and foster meaningful engagement with various stakeholders, ensuring our message is clear, consistent, and impactful.
What Youd Be Doing
- Creating, editing, and publishing high-quality written and multimedia content for diverse platforms, including newsletters, press releases, blogs, social media, and internal communications.
- Coordinating employee communications, such as updates, memos, and announcements.
- Managing public relations activities, including media outreach, press releases, and event promotion.
- Developing and executing social media strategies that promote engagement and audience growth.
- Monitoring and analyzing digital performance metrics to optimize communication strategies.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Supporting the creation and implementation of branding guidelines.
Physical requirements include the following
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 70% of the time.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 15 pounds
- Requires occasional driving
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

What We're Looking For-the Must Haves
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in communication, public relations, or a related role.
- Proven experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record, reliable transportation to work using own vehicle
