Were looking for a Healthcare Specialist III, ATU .6 FTE 7am to 7pm Sunday and Monday to join our team at Acute Treatment Unit, 1302 Chinook., Pueblo, CO.
What Youd Be Doing
Responsibilities: As a part-time Healthcare Specialist III at the Acute Treatment Unit, you play an important role in providing care in a safe and secure environment for our patients experiencing crises. You are a member of a small team of professionals working closely with clients to get them the treatment they need, and then support them as they transition back to their home and community. You assist in the intake process, provide case management services, conduct therapeutic sessions, and actively consult with families and community agencies. Excellent communication, documentation, and electronic record skills are essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional care for our clients;
- Provides intake services for clients in crisis;
- Assists in intake interviewing and the development of treatment plans;
- Provides case management services;
- Actively consults with family members and community agencies to support clients;
- Provides individual and group therapeutic sessions;
- Assures that the essential needs of clients are met while they are in residence;
- Offers telephonic crisis intervention;
- Triages telephone calls;
- Completes trainings satisfactorily;
- Assists in maintaining safety of the milieu;
- Maintains accurate and current records in compliance with Health Solutions standards;
- Uses the electronic health record system effectively; and
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
What Were Looking ForThe Must-Haves
- A bachelors degree in social work, psychology, or a closely related field,
- computer proficiency,
- valid Colorado driver's license.
- Must have access to transportation during work hours.
