Were Expanding and looking for a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Medical Assisted Recovery Center (MARC), Montebello Rd, in Pueblo.
What Youd Be Doing
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse. This role involves assisting in the dispensing of medications and providing care to patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with medication administration and strong communication skills.
As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you would become a central member of our MARC teams efforts to improve the medical and behavioral health of clients. You would act as a point person for building professional relationships with medical partners and community agencies, synthesizing data to address client needs, and conducting outreach activities designed to meet the health needs of our community.
Specifically, the Dispensing LPN
Administer and dispense Methadone to patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records
Monitor and document patient progress and any adverse reactions
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients
Follow clinic protocols and comply with all safety and confidentiality regulations
Collaborates with clients to identify and resolve issues related to the health care system, including social and financial barriers.
Coordinates care with internal and external care providers to maximize the quality-of-care clients receive.
Works effectively independently and as a team member.
Builds rapport and professional relationships with medical partners in the community.
Utilizes medical and behavioral health professional skills.
Tracks and documents the progress of our clients and makes course corrections when appropriate.
Collaborates with community agencies in service to our clients and to our community.
Provides education and interactive guidance to patient's questions and medication concerns.
Collects and analyzes data to assure that our patients receive efficient and effective care to meet their needs.
Makes important contributions when meeting with staff from multiple disciplines.
Interacts professionally and ethically.
Maintains records in accordance with Health Solutions standards; and
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical requirements include the following
Requires standing, sitting, driving, and walking for prolonged periods of time
Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds
Requires working under stress in emergency situations
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record data electronically and communicate with clients
Requires occasional driving in adverse weather conditions
Requires frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse
Requires frequent use computer operation including keyboard and mouse

What Were Looking ForThe Must-Haves
Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Colorado or a state participating in the Enhance Nurse Licensure Compact
Minimum of two years experience working with diverse population
Minimum of two years experience in an addiction recovery setting
Experience in providing nursing care in medical and behavioral healthcare settings
Experience collaborating across disciplines and agencies
Colorado drivers license and access to reliable transportation during working hours.
Exceptional documentation and computer skills
