Contract Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) needed for Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

Location : Grants Pass / Medford, OR (other LTC locations within Oregon available)
Contract duration : 13 or 26 weeks (flexible)
Shift : Days or Eves shift available
Pay rate : $38.00 / hour
Travel pay package also available
Oregon state PTA license required
BLS or CPR cert required
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a well-established Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Medford, OR. This is a 13-week contract position with both day and evening shift options. This candidate will work closely with our residents to provide top-quality care in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Use manual therapy techniques, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment as needed.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
