Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Roseburg, OR. This is a 13-week contract position offering a flexible day shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with geriatric patients and a strong background in speech and language therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility standards.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on communication and swallowing techniques.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current and valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Oregon.
- NEW GRADS WELCOME.
