Job Details

  • A hospital in Central Nebraska is in need of a Surgical Tech to work a 13 week travel assignment.
  • The tech will be working 8 to 10 hour days with some call being required.

Job Requirements

  • BLS certification required
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills : Staff must be well versed on all surgical procedures since we don't have specialized teams for each service line.

    • Schedule Information

  • 0630-1500
  • All staff are scheduled 5 days a week
  • 1 night a week on call
  • Every 5th or 6th weekend (Sat / Sun) on call
  • Rotating holiday call
  • 1 week in the OR for unit / department specific orientation.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Department : OR (Tech)
  • of Suites : 7 ORs, 2 Endo suites
  • Common Cases : Adults, geriatrics, Peds, Obstetric. Neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general, Davinci robotics

    • Additional Details

  • Core staff here have a lot of longevity in the hospital and department.
