What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Office Manager position at Health Star Clinic?
We are looking for an office manager with previous managing experience AND a love for the Chiropractic profession. Medical experience is not required and is usually not an asset for our office. Dental/Orthodontic experience is a plus and is more closely aligned with our operational dynamic. Daily operations differ greatly from your average medical office and patient goals as well as the in office and over the phone patient experience is a top priority over focusing on insurance and paperwork more than patient care. The mindset that is required to run a Chiropractic office is generally very different as well. If you do not have any personal experience or understanding of the Chiropractic profession and how a Chiropractic office runs, please do not apply. We do not operate the same as a medical facility and often times this is a mental block that experienced medical office managers are not able to change and adapt to. We are looking for experience in Chiropractic specifically combined with a positive can do attitude and no issues with holding others accountable to their responsibilities in the office. Must be extremely organized and prepared to implement and maintain the set protocols and expectations for our specific office. As a manager a big part of your job is to provide professional coaching and development for your team members and empower them to work as a team to solve problems. We expect that a manager at our office will foster a “always learning” atmosphere and continually work with staff members to help them take their performance to the next level. Our office manager will also be responsible for employee engagement in the workplace and be required to track and measure specific parameters dealing with performance. The manager in our office works one on one directly with our office Executive and Clinical Director through regular meetings and analysis/feedback.
As a manager if you can put the time and effort needed to train and lead a good team that is able to function without you always being present, you will be rewarded with additional bonuses, additional time off and a more flexible schedule. This position will require extra time and effort up front but it is an opportunity to grow with the organization and create a long lasting career with many opportunities along the way.
Professional Chiropractic references are a requirement if you have experience in a Chiropractic office. If you do not have experience but a passion for the profession an extensive interview process in addition to any professional references will be considered. Salary/Pay/Benefits will be discussed on a private individual basis as you inquire about the position and is based on education level, experience in the field of Chiropractic and Human Resources/Management and the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes from past employment. To inquire about the position you can email drcobb@healthstarclinic.com.
If you do not have any background in healthcare, Human Resources and/or management please do not waste your time applying for this position.
