Purpose of this position
The purpose of this position is to develop and implement facility maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents needs in compliance with Federal, State and local requirements. Must be committed to person-centered care by embracing and following the facilitys goal of person-centered care by demonstrating and being supportive of individual resident choice and controlled resident-preferred routines in all aspect of daily living

Qualifications
Ability to read and write, speak and understand English.
Current drivers license and ability to drive facilitys vehicles.
Maintenance experience (supervisory experience preferred).
Knowledge and ability in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plastering, and painting preferred.
Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family members of the community and other facility personnel.
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and complete work with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to work within Federal and State regulation.
Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
