We are looking for a reliable and loving Personal Caregiver to assist an elderly senior with everyday activities. The ideal applicant should have empathy, patience, and a thorough awareness of the elderly's requirements.
The primary responsibility of the caregiver will be to ensure the elderly mother's well-being, safety, and comfort, while also encouraging her independence and improving her quality of life.
Responsibilities include supervision and administration of prescribed drugs.
- Aid with movement, transfers, positioning, and walking.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and aid with feeding as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness by performing light domestic activities.
- Accompany elderly people to medical appointments, social gatherings, and other events.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and entertaining conversation.
- Keep track of any health or behavioral changes and report them to your family and healthcare team.
- Encourage involvement in cognitive and physical activities that promote overall well-being.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe atmosphere and avoid accidents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience caring for seniors.
- An understanding of caregiving ideas and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and empathetic interactions.
