Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living spaces.
Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities and meaningful conversations.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health status or behavior to appropriate individuals.
Escort clients to appointments, outings, and recreational activities.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations or concerns.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Caregiver or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Completion of a caregiver training program or certification preferred.
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in challenging situations.
Physical stamina and strength to assist with lifting and transferring clients.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Clear background check and drug screening.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
This Caregiver will primarily work in clients' homes, assisted living facilities, or healthcare institutions. This role may require flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of the clients.
