We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our facility. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM .
Key Responsibilities :
Perform floor care including mopping, vacuuming, steaming, waxing, and stripping.
Dust and maintain cleanliness of all areas.
Refill soap and paper towel dispensers daily.
Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility.
Follow all Infection Control procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
Assist with the cleanup of blood spills and bodily fluids under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Clean and organize rooms, offices, and common areas.
Safely store equipment and supplies.
Attend staff meetings as required.
Keep the Environmental Services Manager informed of any significant events or equipment concerns.
Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the facility.
Qualifications :
Experience : At least 1 year of cleaning experience required; experience in a rehabilitation or hospital-like setting is preferred.
Training in cleaning and sanitation procedures is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
