Responsibilities:
- Assist patients to exam room
- Obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight)
- Document inpatient computer record histories and chief complaint.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures including positioning, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment sites.
- Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and invasive procedures
- Place leads and perform EKGs
- Perform ear lavages, removing sutures or staples from superficial wounds
- Apply basic dressings
- Collect and label urine and stool specimens
- Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by provider
- Run all lab work (CBC, CMP, BMP, Lipids, SOB, Urinalysis, Influenza, Strep Screen, HcG, RSV, and Mono)
- Splint Application
- Remain flexible for cross training
- Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice
- Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization
- Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values
Pay: $16.00/hour & up - depending on experience
Full Time: 12 hour shifts, rotating Saturday's
